We’re so confident in the accuracy and fairness of our invoices that we offer a No-Argue Invoice Guarantee.

PBI believes in the honor system, and we trust our Home Builders. If you see a line item on your invoice that feels unfair or inaccurate, simply cross it out, adjust the total, and pay what you believe is appropriate.

PBI will accept the lower payment, up to 25% of the total invoice or $2,500 maximum, whichever is less. No need to call us, no waiting for revised invoices, no delay in payment processing. The adjusted amount will be honored, no questions asked.

This isn’t just a policy. It’s our promise. We value your trust more than any line item.

*Valid only for time and material projects involving labor, materials, or equipment charges. Does not apply to fixed-price contract work or pre-approved lump sums. Full payment, adjusted or otherwise, must be received within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply.

How We Back It Up:

1. Transparent Labor Logs

Time-stamped labor entries (by technician)
Daily digital or physical job sheets signed by the site superintendent, PM, or warranty manager
Optional GPS timestamp or Encircle-style documentation for verification

2. Equipment Usage Logs

Equipment barcoded or QR coded
Daily placement and removal timestamps documented in log or photos
Photos of equipment placement each day, especially when drying equipment is deployed

3. Before-and-After Photos

Taken at start, during, and completion of work
Attached to every invoice or job report

4. Moisture Mapping and Monitoring

Moisture readings documented daily (with timestamps and meter photos)
Readings justify drying equipment duration — not arbitrary rental periods

5. Scope Confirmation Before Expansion

Scope changes are submitted for approval before added work begins
Optional NTE (Not to Exceed) pricing available on jobs over a threshold

6. Third-Party Audit Option

Builders may request an audit of any PBI invoice by an independent, qualified third-party auditor. We partner with firms like JS Held, Summit Forensics, or any mutually agreed upon, credentialed cost consultant.
If the audit reveals overbilling exceeding 2% of the invoice total, PBI will adjust the invoice and pay the full cost of the audit.
