Science Museum of Virginia

This project involves the restoration and repair of historic exterior elements at the Science Museum of Virginia. Work includes refurbishing original steel windows with new dual-pane glazing, repairing sashes, replacing sealants, and repainting. The steel and glass canopy will be inspected, reglazed, and repainted. Main entry doors will be replaced and reconfigured with automatic operators, ensuring accessibility while preserving historic cast iron features. Additional work includes repainting and resealing other exterior doors and windows. All work will comply with historic preservation standards and be coordinated to minimize disruption to museum operations and ensure public safety.
